Tymi Howard Bender – 500 E-RYT
Retreat Leader
“Inspiring humans to uncover their purpose—through the art of yoga.”
Tymi Howard Bender is an internationally celebrated Yoga Alliance 500 E-RYT teacher, Certified Holistic Health Coach, creator of Manifest Yoga International Teacher Trainings, founder of Guruv Yoga Studios, and the visionary behind James Island Yoga in Charleston, South Carolina.
A pioneer of both the vinyasa and yin yoga movements, Tymi has spent more than three decades weaving ancient wisdom with modern soul work—guiding students not just to touch their toes, but to touch their truth.
A former ballet dancer with a flair for the dramatic (BA in Theatre & Dance from Rollins College and Master’s from NYU/Circle in the Square), she turned to yoga in 1993 after injuries redirected her path toward something deeper.
What she discovered was more than flexibility—it was liberation.
Known for her signature blend of intelligence, intuition, and a little rock-and-roll sparkle, Tymi has studied with many of the greats including John Friend, Dharma Mittra, David Swenson, Steve Ross, Jonny Kest, Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rea, and David Life & Sharon Gannon.
Her classes feel like a journey, her words feel like medicine, and her students consistently walk away feeling grounded, uplifted, and aligned with their purpose.
Yoga is her art.
Teaching is her service.
Inspiration is her dharma.
Kenneth Hyatt
Yoga Teacher | Sound Meditation Facilitator | Resonance Architect
Kenneth Hyatt is a yoga teacher and sound meditation facilitator whose work explores the relationship between movement, deep listening, and vibrational awareness.
His approach blends disciplined vinyasa practice with immersive sound environments designed to cultivate introspection and sensory awareness.
Kenneth received his first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2022 from Moksha Yoga Amazonica in the Amazonian jungle of Peru. In 2023 he continued his studies at Chandra Rasmi Ashram in Nicaragua, completing another 200-hour training focused on tantra, yin, and sound.
Rooted in an Ashtanga-inspired vinyasa tradition, Kenneth balances strong fluid movement with spacious stillness.
Alongside his movement practice, Kenneth facilitates meditative sound immersions using crystal alchemy singing bowls, creating fields of resonance where tone, silence, and vibration support reflection, integration, and rest.
